WEATHER UPDATE: Extreme Heat Tuesday; Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued
The National Weather Service has already issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for late Wednesday into Thursday.

Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to exceed 90 degrees for the entire state except for New London County, which will see temps in the mid to upper 80s.
More heat and humidity will hang on Wednesday as Hartford and Tolland counties will see readings in the 90s while the southern half of the state will see temps in the mid to upper 80s.
But late Wednesday, showers and thunderstorms are expected, which will last through most of Thursday.

The National Weather Service has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties because some of the rain will be heavy and can lead to flash flooding.
No advisories have been issued for Hartford and Tolland counties though rain is still expected there late Wednesday and into Thursday.

The forecast for Friday and Saturday looks good with temps in the upper 70s and sunny skies, while there is a chance for showers on Sunday.
