Woman Struck, Killed In Meriden Hit-And-Run Accident
A woman was killed in a Wednesday night crash.
MERIDEN, CT — Police are investigating a fatal crash in Meriden on I-691 that occurred Wednesday night. State police were called at about 8:35 p.m. on a report of a person lying in the road on I-691 west between exits 8 and 9.
When police arrived, they found a woman who could not be identified at the time of the crash and was later pronounced deceased.
Following investigation, police said it appears the woman was struck by an unknown vehicle.
