Young Local Entrepreneur Opens Used Car Dealership And Auto Shop

Auto Legends will be opening its doors for the first time, on Saturday December 12, 2020. The grand opening includes music, prizes, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony* featuring Meriden’s Mayor, Kevin Scarpati, and the Midstate Chamber of Commerce at 12:00pm at 55 South Broad St, Meriden, CT. The public is invited to celebrate the occasion, beginning at 12:15pm, which will feature a toy drive to benefit our community during these tough times. Auto Legends will provide a tour of their used car selection as well as autobody repair demonstrations.

Auto Legends was founded by Meriden native, Joshua Santiago. After graduation from O.H. Platt High School , Joshua went on to work for local autobody shops in the area where he gained alot of his knowledge about the automotive industry, as well as for The Hartford Insurance Company. “It has been a goal of mine since I was a child to have my own autobody shop, and make a difference in my Meriden community. I’m starting with a toy drive, where all items will be donated to “Make A Wish Foundation” and “The Salvation Army,” and I want my business to do so much more. I want to re-establish trust in the used car industry, and help my town thrive”, said Joshua Santiago, Founder of Auto Legends.
