$4.75 Shoplifting Complaint at Walmart Leads to $5K Bond for Naugatuck Man
Naugatuck police say the accused allegedly stole $4.75 worth of merchandise from WalMart.

A Naugatuck man is accused of stealing less than $5 worth of good from Walmart but for that he received a $5,000 bond.
Naugatuck police say officers responded to WalMart on Oct. 31 for a larceny complaint and after investigation charged Byron Vaughn, Jr., 30, of 206 Wildwood Circle, when they identified him by proper identification.
Police say the accused originally gave a false name to police and he allegedly stole $4.75 worth of merchandise from WalMart.

The accused is charged with shoplifting, breach of peace and interfering with an officer.
Vaughn was released on $5,000 bond and given a court date of Nov. 10 at Waterbury Superior Court.
