American Forged Pub Opens in Naugatuck

Naugatuck, CT - The American Forged Pub is now open on New Haven Road in Naugatuck.

The official Ribbon Cutting was held on Sept. 7, 2019. Mayor N. Warren "Pete" Hess, Deputy Mayor Laurie Taf Jackson, town Burgesses and local officials were in attendance to witness the grand opening. Local musician Jerry Burr entertained the crowds later in the evening.

The owners expressed their gratitude to all their new guests that have become more like family. "We couldn’t do it without you! Cheers!"

What can we say? You guys never cease to amaze us. We are so incredibly honored, humbled and blessed at the love and support from this weekend. In the short month that we’ve been open, a small, amazing, wacky, loving family has formed and we couldn’t be happier.

We can’t thank everyone enough who took the time out of their busy lives to come see us Saturday for our ribbon cutting ceremony and then back again for Jerry Burr’s performance last night! It’s so amazing to see such hometown support from our Prospect peeps.

Mayor Hess and Deputy Mayor Laurie Taf Jackson have never been anything less than supportive, amazing and encouraging and we’re so grateful. Thank you to all the town Burgesses that took the time to come by, as well as the Selectmen and Senators. Bethany Fire Department stopped in after their Muster on Saturday to show their support as well and a good time was, definitely, had by all!

If anyone else took pictures this weekend, please post them and tag us! I’m sure in the chaos we missed something. We’re so thrilled to be welcomed into your community so lovingly.

Starting Sept. 11 through November 11 (Veteran’s Day) the pub will be running their “Buy a Drink for a Vet” program. Come in and prepay for a drink and at any time and a beloved hero can come and receive your gifted drink.

Food was really good, great atmosphere! Servers and owners were really nice! Definitely need more seating and servers, but they've only been open a week. I can for sure see this as a go to place.

What an incredible place!!!! Pro Military, Police, Fire and EMS with a great hometown feel. Very Patriotic!! Owners and staff were EXCELLENT! Can’t say enough about this place. LOVE IT!!!!
