Body of Missing Naugatuck Man Found in a New York River Saturday

A body found in the Hudson River near the City of Beacon, N.Y., has been identified as missing person Armando Camara, 39, of Naugatuck. 

Police said in a news release he is believed to have committed suicide by jumping off the Newburgh-Beacon bridge on Tuesday night after talking to his wife on the phone.

The Naugatuck Police Department issued a missing person's report for him on Wednesday morning. 

Police said the body was discovered in the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 6. The investigation has ruled out foul play and the death is not being investigated as suspicious, police said.
