Boyfriend, Girlfriend Charged with Assault in Naugatuck
Police say the incident happened on Dec. 21.

Naugatuck police said they responded to 35 Rough Wing Road for a domestic disturbance between a boyfriend and a girlfriend who reside at the same location at about 11:50 p.m. on Dec. 21.
During the argument Jennifer James, 27, allegedly hit Mark Dixon, 28, who allegedly proceeded to push her into a wall, according to police.
Both were released on $5,000 bond.

Both parties were given a court date of Dec. 22 at Waterbury Superior Court for this incident.
Dixon was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

James was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault for the domestic incident.
During the investigation, it was discovered that James was wanted on an active arrest warrant.
James was charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear regard her warrant and given a court date of Dec. 31 at Waterbury Superior Court for her separate charges.
For one of the failure to appear charges she was released on $250 bond and the other $2,500 bond, according to police.
