Here's what you need to know. Phase 1A of the program is nearing its completion and phase 1B commenced this week for residents 75 and older. Residents above the age of 75 can make appointments online at ct.gov/covidvaccine, a form is accessed online that allows scheduling of an appointment through VAMS (Vaccine Administration Management System). Anyone without internet access can schedule an appointment by calling the State COVID vaccine appointment assistance line at 877-918-2224. The line is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.

We do have some new, exciting news for Naugatuck today. Unified Command has just finalized a partnership with Waterbury hospital to bring a COVID-19 vaccine clinic to Naugatuck. We expect to open the Naugatuck Site the week of January 25; it will be between the high school and the armory. The clinic initially will be open four hours per day, from 8:00am to 12:00pm and will eventually be ramped up.

Details as to accessing the Naugatuck clinic will be announced in a new code red next week.

Be patient, ask for help if you need it, be safe. We also want to thank Waterbury Hospital for their help in allowing us to set up this clinic.

Lastly, always remain Naugy Strong.

Thank you,

Pete Hess
