Cops Find Big Drug Stash Following Domestic Case In Naugatuck

NAUGATUCK, CT — A 28-year-old Naugatuck man was arrested on a warrant charging him with a host of narcotics violations after Naugatuck police discovered a huge stash of drugs in his Milliville Avenue home.

Justin Cummings was arrested Tuesday after police searched his home and found the following:

Officers had been called to the home on a report of a domestic incident, and the officers made note of the "drug contraband" that was visible inside the home, got a warrant and returned to conduct the search.

Cummings was charged with possession with intent to sell hallucinogenic [narcotics]; operation of a drug factory; use of drug paraphernalia; and sale of 1 kilogram or more of cannabis. He was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 4.

"Police continue to investigate this incident and additional charges may be forthcoming," authorities said.
