Dumping Cigarette Ashes in a Car Leads to Charges: Naugatuck Police
Naugatuck police say an argument between former boyfriend and girlfriend led to charges for both.

Naugatuck police said they responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 11:49 p.m. on Nov. 11 at 20 Tolles Square.
David Rivera, 21, and Victoria Padilla, 20, former boyfriend and girlfriend, got into an argument in a vehicle when Padilla allegedly dumped cigarette ashes on the inside of the car and pulled on Rivera’s neck chain, according to police.
Rivera allegedly attempted to pull Padilla out of the car by her arm, police said.

Both accused parties were released on $500 bond and given a court date of Nov. 12 at Waterbury Superior Court.
