'Eat Local, Win Local - Keep Naugy Strong' Program Announced

Local officials are teaming up to assist local restaurants in Naugatuck. Here is how the program works.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A new initiative has been launched in Naugatuck to assist local restaurants as indoor dining returns on June 17.

Mayor Pete Hess announced the “Eat Local, Win Local - Keep Naugy Strong" program.

The Borough of Naugatuck, Naugatuck Chamber of Commerce and Naugatuck Economic Development Corporation are joining forces to drive business to local restaurants, officials announced.

PLEASE NOTE : NEW DEADLINE IS June 15th.

""To make 'Eat Local, Win Local' the talk of the town and to drive business to your restaurant:
  • We are seeking donations of gift cards for residents to win
  • Restaurants that participate will be featured on Facebook Live
  • They will also be marketed on social media to over 3,000 viewers
  • Consumers will be encouraged to visit your restaurant to be eligible to win
