Fire Damages Naugatuck Home, Temporarily Displaces Family: FD
The fire was reported Friday morning on Andrew Avenue.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Firefighters extinguished a fire at the Horizon Homes apartment complex on Andrew Avenue in Nautauck early Friday, but the blaze damaged a unit, leading to the temporary displacement of a family, according to fire officials.
The fire was reported just after 6 a.m. and appears to have started in the basement of Building #17.
No injuries were reported, but the residents of the building were evacuated while fire crews doused the fire.
