NAUGATUCK, CT - The winners of the annual Fire Prevention Poster Contest were announced at the Apr. 8, 2021 monthly meeting of the Naugatuck Board of Education.

Under Student Recognition on the Board's agenda for the evening, Fire Marshal Ned Dalton appeared virtually at the meeting. The fire marshal noted that it had been very difficult to choose the winners of this year's contest. The 2021 theme for the annual contest was "Everyone - Everyday." Dalton also thanked the Naugatuck Public School teachers for once again adding the contest to their curriculum so that students were able to participate.

The winning students were invited by Superintendent Christopher Montini to become participants for this segment of the meeting and appear onscreen. Several of the students and their parents were able to attend virtually.
