Happy Father’s Day From Matt
"A dad who is physically limited can still be a super dad to his children."
In celebration of Father's Day on Sunday June 17, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their father and let us deliver it. This is Matt's letter to his dad:
My dad passed away several years ago. He suffered from a terminal brain tumor and left us way too soon at age 42. His condition limited his abilities, but I never ever thought that I had any less of a dad than anyone else. I realize now that he gave me everything he possibly could, and I cherished every moment we spent together.
A dad who is physically limited can still be a super dad to his children. I miss him every day but appreciate his love and everything he taught me in our time together.
