Local Company Giving Away 100-150 Filled Backpacks

Need help providing your child with  the proper school supplies for the new school year? We’re here to  help! The  Cellular Connection (Verizon Wireless) is  inviting all customers to bring their children to the local TCC store  at 1007 New Haven Road in Naugatuck between noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3 to pick  up a free backpack filled with pencils, paper, a pencil box, folders,  glue and more. It’s as simple as that: just come in and ask for a  backpack.

The company will be donating between 100 and 150 backpacks, which will 
be given away on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
We also encourage you to bring your friends and family!
