Many more Naugatuck voters need to get to the polling station before 8 p.m. if they want the results of today's referendum to count.
As of 7Â p.m., 2,143 people had voted on the proposed town and school spending plans. At least 2,642 people, or 15 percent of those eligible to vote, need to cast ballots in order for the results to count.
The poll is open until 8 p.m. at the old Naugatuck Train Station, 195 Water St.
