Man Dies After He Was Found At Naugatuck Tent Encampment: Report

The victim was found on an access road near the Waterbury branch of the Metro-North Railroad tracks.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A 56-year-old man, who police said had been living in a tent encampment, died Monday after he was discovered near the tent site in Naugatuck after suffering a medical emergency, reported the Republican-American.

Daniel Taylor was found near an access road by General Pulaski Way, according to Naugatuck police. The access road leads to the tracks of the Waterbury branch of the Metro-North Railroad.

The cause of Taylor's death is under investigation, and an autopsy is being performed by state medical examiners. Police do not believe Taylor was the victim of foul play.
