Man Stole Car, Held On $25K Bond: Naugatuck Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Bridgeport man is being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond after being arrested on a warrant, Naugatuck police said.

On Jan. 25 police arrested Jose Maldonado, 41, of Washington Place, on a warrant, police said. Police said the accused stole a motor vehicle on or about February 2019.

He is charged with first-degree larceny and first-degree criminal trover, and was initially held in lieu of a $25,000 bond, police said.
