Mayor Bob Mezzo thanked voters, his campaign volunteers and the Democratic Party after it became clear that he had won re-election for a third consecutive term Tuesday night at his campaign headquarters on Church Street.
But he saved most of his thanks for his family - including his three children and his wife, Eileen, whom he said supports him 100 percent.
Mezzo won by an unofficial 65 percent of the vote - 3,302 to 1,748 - against Republican challenger Jim O'Sullivan.
