The delicious bread for the grinders is baked fresh daily and does not contain any preservatives or artificial flavors. A new offering is gluten free rolls and cookies.

The grinders were voted #1 by Connecticut Magazine year after year. They were also featured on the Travel Channel’s Sandwich Paradise as one of America’s BEST sandwiches.

As listed on the menu, Nardelli’s favorites include the world famous Italian Combo made with mayo, lettuce and tomato, pruzitini, capicola, salami, and provolone cheese Prosciutto Hot Pepper Chicken includes marinara sauce OR mayo, L&T, cheese, Classic MixTM (Diced Veggies), olives & hot sauce. The Roast Beef ‘Prime Choice’ is made with mayo, L&T, cheese, Classic MixTM (Diced Veggies), olives & hot sauce. Another favorite is the Turkey Club ‘Nardelli’s Style’ with mayo, L&T, cheese, Classic MixTM (Diced Veggies), olives & hot sauce. Chipotle Grilled Chicken ‘All Natural Char-Grilled’ comes with mayo, L&T, cheese, Classic MixTM (Diced Veggies), olives & hot sauce.

Cold grinders are available as a whole, wrap (whole wheat, sundried tomato, or spinach) or half grinder. You can order baked ham, bologna, capicola, cheese combo, American Combo, seafood salad, ham, mortadella, pepperoni, prosciutto, pruzitini, salami, sopressata, turkey breast, tuna and veggie, which includes roasted peppers, marinated mushrooms, pickles and artichoke hearts. My favorite of the cold grinders is the chicken salad, which is all white meat and really delicious with lettuce, tomato and pickles.

If you ask for “everything” on a cold grinder, you will get mayo, lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese, olives and Classic MixTM (Diced Veggies) You can also have a grinder on a grilled panini or request it on multigrain, grilled panini bread, millities (hard crust) or gluten free rolls for an additional charge. Upon request you can order oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, plain onions, oregano, and pickles; available spreads include honey mustard, cranberry mayonnaise, deli mustard and ranch. There is an additional charge for roasted peppers, hot peppers, extra meat, double meat, extra cheese, bacon, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, sharp cheese and fresh mozzarella.

Hot grinders include buffalo chicken, eggplant parmigiana, meatball parmigiana, baked stuffed pastrami, sausage poppers, onions & mushroom parmigiana, bacon mushroom chicken, barbeque bacon cheddar chicken, mozzarella tomato chicken with light bacon, eggplant chicken, garlic chicken, steak ‘Nardelli’s Style’ with sauteed peppers and onions, barbeque rib, grilled chicken, balsamic grilled chicken and fried mozzarella with pepperoni panini. My oldest son’s go to hot grinder is the pulled pork to which you can add slaw for a slight additional charge.

Other additional hot servings include mozzarella and pepperoni bread by the piece, Mozzarella en Carozza, broccoli and sausage bread in a half-loaf, stuffed portobello mushrooms, stuffed eggplant parmigiana, lasagna, baked stuffed clams and soup of the day. There is a long list of salad favorites to choose from like pasta, potato, antipasto, and coleslaw. The green salads are very fresh and one side salad lasted me for three days.

If you have room for dessert, there is a cannoli parfait, waffle rolled cheesecake, gourmet sliced cakes, rice pudding and cookies.

For children under 12 years, there is a choice of any child size grinder or a serving of mac & cheese with chips, a cookie, a child-size beverage and grinder tattoo.
