Naugatuck Author Completes Book On Faith And Spirituality

Naugatuck resident Marie Serio has had a successful career utilizing her creative skills. She was a freelance writer and photographer for the Naugatuck Daily News, Editor of her own column in the Naugatuck Daily News titled “Poetry Corner,” and worked on assignments for the Republican-American until 2004.

Serio is now retired and has four books published. Two of the books are for children and two are for adults, and she plans on adding a memoir and fictional release to her collection.

“Faith Comes By Hearing” is focused on topics regarding angels, spirituality, and paranormal experiences, according to a prepared statement. Among the stories collected are testimonies of divine intervention and paranormal encounters she has been silent about since a child.

“When you have a relationship with God, He shows you favor and His will,” said Serio.
