Naugatuck Eyes Noise Ordinance: Report
A proposal by a local resident would include a fine for violators.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Mayor Pete Hess has formed a Noise Ordinance Subcommittee, which might lead to fines for violators, the Republican-American reports.
The current noise ordinance is vague on what is allowed and during what times.

But resident Manuel P. Santos is hoping to change that and make the noise ordinance more specific on what is allowed and during which times.
Santos has delivered a detailed proposed ordinance to town leaders, which would include a $100 fine for violators, but no policy has been drafted by Naugatuck leaders.
