Naugatuck Man Arrested For DUI Hit-And-Run: PD

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man was arrested after a hit-and-run crash on route 63 Aug. 8, according to police.

The crash happened near South Main Street and the man's vehicle was found entering Route 8 south. He didn't immediately pull over for officers, police said.

John Cirasuolo, 55, was under the influence of alcohol and possessed marijuana, according to police. He was charged with DUI, engaging police in a pursuit, reckless driving, evading responsibility and several motor vehicle violations.
