Naugatuck Man Charged After Losing Lottery Ticket: Police
Police say the incident occurred at a Mobil Station on South Main

Naugatuck police say they responded to a disturbance at a Mobil station on South Main Street at 10:57 p.m. on Dec. 12.
Michael Merithew, 33, of 189 Bluebird Dr. allegedly yelled profanities and argued with the clerk at the gas station after becoming upset from losing a lottery ticket, according to police, who say the accused was also intoxicated.
Merithew is charged with breach of peace.

Merithew was given a court date of Dec. 23 at Waterbury Superior Court and released on $2,500 bond.
