Naugatuck Man Charged After Street Confrontation
Police say the incident occurred on Cherry Street back in October. Several people were involved.

Naugatuck police say on Nov. 16 John Oppedisano, 23, of Morning Dove Road, turned himself into police on an active arrest warrant.
On Oct. 19, Oppedisano, who was with a juvenile male and another adult male confronted the victim who was walking on Cherry Street, police said.
The accused was with the other adult male who was yelling and attempting to instigate a fight with the victim, who was known to each other, police said.

Police said the juvenile hit the victim, and Oppedisano and the other suspects drove off.
Oppedisano is charged with breach of peace and was released after posting a $1,500 bond.
