Naugatuck Man Charged After Verbal Threats

Police say the accused allegedly threatened his girlfriend and her adult daughter.

Naugatuck Police said they responded to a domestic disturbance on 883 Rubber Ave. Apt. 19 on Dec. 4 at about 6:32 p.m.

Charles Vanness, 46, of 883 Rubber Ave., allegedly threatened to harm his girlfriend and her adult daughter during an argument, according to police.

Vanness is charged with disorderly conduct. No other details were given by police.

Vanness was given a court date of Dec. 7 at Waterbury Superior Court and released on $5,000 bond.
