Naugatuck Man Stands in the Road Tries to Light Towel on Fire: Police
Police say the accused was standing in a manner to impede traffic.

Timothy Carlson, 57, of 14 Barnum Court allegedly stood in the westbound lane of Millville Avenue in such a manner as to impede traffic at 1:52 a.m. on Dec. 22, according to police.
Carlson allegedly attempted to light a towel on fire while standing there, police said.
Carlson was charged with disorderly conduct and reckless burning.

Carlson was held on $5,000 bond and given a court date of Dec. 22 at Waterbury Superior Court.
