Naugatuck Principal Resigns, Hired as Suffield Assistant Superintendent

City Hill Middle School Principal Brian Hendrickson tendered his resignation on Wednesday.

City Hill Middle School Principal, Brian Hendrickson, 40, has resigned from his position after being hired as assistant superintendent for the Suffield public school district, according to the Republican-American.

Hendrickson, who tendered his resignation on Wednesday, worked as a Naugatuck public school administrator for a total of seven years, the Rep-Am reports.

School officials are working to put together a transition plan to ensure that a new principal is in place before the first day of school on Sept. 2, according to the Rep-Am.

Hendrickson was paid $137,876 a year to lead the 680-student middle school, the Rep-Am reports.
