Naugatuck, CT - The Naugatuck Public Schools held a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Saturday, March 6, 2021 for the employees of the school district. The clinic was held in the gym at Naugatuck High School on Rubber Avenue.

By mid-morning, the parking area nearest to the clinic entrance was full and the socially-distanced line of individuals was a long one that seemed to be moving smoothly. Many of those waiting for their appointment appeared to be cheerful and even excited behind their face coverings; those exiting the building seemed happy and relieved to have received their first shot.

The clinic on Saturday was organized by the Health Department in response to the recent addition of school workers to the CT list of those eligible to receive the vaccine.
