Naugatuck School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Naugatuck is August 28. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Naugatuck Public School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/13: Grades K-4 Early Dismissal (Elementary Open House)
• 9/21: Grades 9-12 Early Dismissal (NHS Open House)

October

• 10/9: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/18 - 10/20: Early Dismissal for Students (Parent Conferences)

November

• 11/7: No School for Students (Professional Development Day)
• 11/10: No School (Veteran's Day)
• 11/22: Early Dismissal
• 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/25 - 1/1: No School (Winter Break)

January
