Naugatuck Woman Charged with Assault, Threw Darts Near Ex-Boyfriend: Police

Police say the domestic disturbance happened between a former boyfriend and girlfriend.

Naugatuck police said they responded to a domestic disturbance between a former boyfriend and girlfriend on 11 Seth Dr. at 4:53 a.m. on Dec. 7.

Shannon Hennessey, 32, of 7 Seth Dr. allegedly forced forced entry to the home on 11 Seth Dr. and proceeded to assault a female in the home, damage the front door, and break the female’s phone, according to police.

During the incident, the accused also allegedly threw darts in the direction of the ex-boyfriend, but they never hit him, according to police.

Hennessey is charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, first-degree criminal trespass, and second-degree reckless endangerment.

Hennessey was given a court date of Dec. 7 at Waterbury Superior Court and released on $5,000 bond.
