Watertown, CT - Alfred R. DeLaurentis, age 74, of Watertown, passed away peacefully on February 18 2021 at Waterbury Hospital due to complications of COVID 19. He was the beloved husband of Marie Diane (Charette) DeLaurentis for 49 years.
Alfred was born on August 13, 1946 in Waterbury, CT a son of the late Alfred and Donatella (Mazzola) DeLaurentis. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and attended Naugatuck Valley Community College. Alfred was the owner of Daad’s Motorcycle Emporium in Watertown. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the Watertown American Legion Post #195 and the Thomaston V.F.W.

Besides his wife, Diane, Alfred leaves his children, Alfred R. DeLaurentis, Jr. and his wife, Beth of Watertown, CT, Dena Tyndall and her husband, Jamie of York, PA, five grandchildren, Alysan (Campbell) Pages and her husband, Matthew, Rocco and Giana DeLaurentis and Clayton and Luke Tyndall and one great grandson, Spencer Pages. He also leaves his sister, Maria Zaza and her husband Samuel of Port St. Lucie, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Anthony DeLaurentis.
Arrangements: His funeral will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 8:45 AM from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT to St. John the Evangelist Church in Watertown for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Military honors will follow the Mass. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
