“Beloved son, father, brother, cousin & friend”

WATERBURY, CT - Anand “Andy” Rampersaud, 32, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the beloved fiancé and best friend to Samantha Devi Khalian for the past 14 years.

Andy was born in East Berbice, Guyana on October 11, 1988, son of Gansham “Mikey” and Tolamati “Asha” (Churaman) Rampersaud. He attended Crosby High School and was a hard working molding technician for Carpin Manufacturing in Waterbury. Andy was a phenomenal cricket player and loved all sports. He enjoyed cars, music, food and BBQ. He cherished his family and looked forward to the family gatherings. He was the smartest, most loving, genuine, all around “Great Person” and will be missed by many! His soul will live with all of us forever.

Besides his parents and fiancé, Andy is survived by his son, Trevor Rampersaud, who he loved more than anything, sister, Feiona Rampersaud, his two grandmothers, Sheila Churaman, Dedee Rampersaud, grandmother-in-law, Babz, mother-in-law, Sheila Khalian, sister-in-law, Patricia Khalian, brothers-in-laws, Troy and Imran, nephews, Anthony, Ayden, Amary, niece, Ariya, aunts, Nero, Leeta, Merl, Sharmala, Naz, uncles, Paul, Buddy, Sato, Baby, Mahesh, Jerry and many cousins.

Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM and Sunday 8:00 – 10:00 AM at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. His funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home and then proceed to Brookside Memorial Crematory for the cremation service.
