Mrs. Anna (Mucciacciaro) Rinaldi, 64, of Waterbury, entered into the gates of Heaven on Thursday March 11, 2021 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Alberto Rinaldi.
Anna was born in Pontelandolfo, Benevento, Italy on August 5, 1956, daughter of the late Americo and Rosina (Mancini) Mucciacciaro. She settled in Waterbury with her family from Italy in 1966. She graduated from Crosby High School Class of 1974 and earned an Associate Degree from Mattatuck Community College. Anna worked in the family restaurant Carlucci’s Pizzeria in Wolcott for over 20 years, remembered fondly by the customers as the sometimes cantankerous but always lovable counter girl. She was a proud housewife to her husband Alberto of 42 years. Anna loved and sacrificed for her family from the young age of 16 without complaint, helping to raise her brothers after their father’s passing and as a second mother to her nieces and nephews especially, Kristi, Joey, and Abby Rose Mucciacciaro. Anna was an avid shopper and loved traveling, cruising on more than 27 ships with her husband Alberto all over the world. Anna’s legacy of strength, hard work, dedication to family and unconditional love will live on in all of those who loved her. She will be our forever angel, missed here on earth but alive in our hearts forever.
