WINSTED, CT – Candace "Candy" Richard, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at home with her husband by her side. She was the loving wife of Joseph Richard for 31 years.
Born December 31, 1948 in Manchester; the daughter of the late Kenneth and Diane (Robertson) White. Candy was an avid reader and was a talented painter. She loved spending time with her family, listening to music especially her heavy metal and rescuing cats.

In addition to her husband, she leaves close nieces, Amanda Richardson of Winsted and Robin Arnold who she lovingly called “little girl,” of NH; brother, Thomas Arnold and wife Barbara of NH; niece, April Martinez and husband Lebrado of NH; nephews, Allan Canty, Jr., and wife Melissa of Beacon Falls and Nathan Arnold and wife Terri of NH; beloved great nephews, she always called her "old men," Zackary, Tyler and Evan; and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Jack Arnold and her cherished sister, Patricia Canty.
