Chris was a graduate of Holy Cross High School; he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from St. Peter's College in New Jersey.

Mr. Christopher Joseph Nocera, age 46, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at his home.

Born on December 9, 1974, in Waterbury, he was the son of Richard Nocera of New Britain and Judith (Evans) Nocera of Watertown. Chris was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, Class of 1992. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from St. Peter’s College in New Jersey. He was an outstanding baseball player and played for youth baseball leagues and Holy Cross. In college, Chris established new offensive records in multiple categories and was selected to New Jersey’s Division 1 All-State Team. Chris was also an avid golfer and worked at Hawk’s Landing Country Club for over 10 years.
Most importantly, Chris enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was loved by all who met him.

In addition to his mother, Judith Nocera and his father, Dick Nocera and his wife Felicia, Chris is survived by his brothers, Rick Nocera of Torrington and Todd Nocera of New Rochelle as well as his nieces and nephews, Alex Nocera, Matthew Nocera, Zachary Nocera, Kaya Alper-Nocera and Belis Alper-Nocera and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many lifelong friends.
Chris’ parents are extremely proud that he was their son and incredibly grateful that they were his parents.
