Naugatuck, CT -Dolores Elizabeth (Barnard) Walker, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family at home where she resided with Todd and Dawn Walker. She was reunited with her husband, the late Charles W. Walker in Heaven on Friday April 2, 2021.

Dolores was born in Bridgeport, CT on January 24, 1935 during a blizzard to the late Edwin and Genevieve Barnard.

Dolores leaves to cherish her memory her children; Charles W. Walker, Jr. (Chun), Elizabeth Misurelli (Mike), Cindy Olsen (Eric), Todd Walker (Dawn), Edward Walker (Barbra), Robin Giuffre (Steve); 13 grandchildren , Elizabeth, Jason, Harry Jr., Kim, Dana, Stacey, Darcey, Crystal, Todd, EJ, Samantha, Kyle and Morgan; 21 great grandchildren , Ali, Emmy, Lily, Ethan, Nathen, Jonathan, DiShawn, Madden, Maliyah, Nolan, Caleb, Kobe, Brady, Whitney, Aubrey, Alyssa, Edward III, Olivia, Ronan, Alexandria, Oaklea, and number 22 arriving soon, Claire; as well as step grandchildren.

She lived her life to the fullest, enjoyed time with family, especially holidays and family vacations. In addition to her husband and parents, Dolores was predeceased by her brothers Edward and Ronald Barnard.

The family would like to thank her care givers, Lynette, Jackie, Sonia, Nikki, Selina and the many others who helped take care of her needs, and would also like to thank Vitas, Grand Care Companions of Naugatuck and Home First Health Care of Bridgeport for their compassion and care during her time.
