NAUGATUCK, CT - Donald S. Costa, Jr., 24, died March 8, 2020 in Derby.
Donnie was born on January 3, 1996 in Waterbury, CT a son of Kathleen Nelson and Donald S. Costa, Sr. Donnie lived in Naugatuck most of his life, he graduated from Naugatuck High School and he was proudly serving as a reservist in the United States Marine Corps.

Donnie is survived by his mother, Kathleen Nelson and her fiancé, Dennis Boyle; his father, Donald S. Costa, Sr.; his brother, Matthew Costa; his sisters, Cassandra Costa and Kaitlyn Gully; his maternal grandmother, Eileen Nelson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00am Saturday, March 21, 2020 at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours are Friday, March 20, 2020 from 4-7pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Memorial contributions to honor Donnie’s memory can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 3000 Whitney Ave., #121, Hamden, CT 06518.
