Naugatuck, CT - Edward Eugene “Chintzy” Thomas, 81, of Naugatuck, died Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 at his home. He was the widower of Barbara (Wyant) Thomas.

Chintzy was born in Waterbury May 15th, 1939, son of the late Eugene and Olivia (Almeida) Thomas. He was retired from Bristol Babcock, where he worked as a machinist. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom and nut picking and his many pets.
Chintzy leaves his son Edward Thomas of Oakville; daughters Margaret Thomas of Waterbury, Susan Thomas of Middlebury and Barbara Thomas of Naugatuck; sister Margaret C. Thomas of La Mesa Ca.; granddaughter Taylor Vanbramer and great granddaughter Harper Vanbramer, both of New York and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by his sister Vivian McBurney and Brother James Thomas.

Arrangements: A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, April 20th, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. All are invited to attend at Middlebury Cemetery, Middlebury, Ct. There are no calling hours.
