She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years and high school sweetheart Rick Faitella. She was adored by her children, Nancy Yabrosky and her husband Michael Yabrosky of New Hartford, CT and Ric Faitella and his wife Kim of Georgetown, MA. She was cherished by her four grandchildren Hannah, Thomas, Jackson and Dillon. She was the sister of the late Josephine Jensen and her late husband Alfred; Elsie Tallmadge and her husband Ralph; the late Bruna Legowski and her late husband John; the late Dora Cromack and her late husband “Ibby”; Eleanor Parsons and her late husband Don; Arnold Bonini and his wife Anne; James Bonini and his wife Mary and Hank Bonini and his wife Irene. She was the Aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved.

Betty was born and raised in Unionville and was a Farmington High School Graduate. She spent her career as an Administrative Assistant to the Department of Special Services in Farmington. She and Rick moved to Harwinton after they retired and have remained there since 1991. She so enjoyed her special friendship with “the Meadowview Ladies”. Betty was also a part time resident of Niantic, CT where she spent time enjoying friends and family over sun and sunsets at the beach, as well as clamming and fishing. She was very active in the Women’s Guild, St. Mary’s Church and donated her time to helping at FAVAR, local Hospitals and The Warner Theatre in Torrington. Her most beloved treasure was her family where she shared her warmth, kindness and beautiful soul, which is now a part of us all.
