WATERBURY, CT - Geraldine Y. (Bellemare) DiFronzo, age 76, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Thursday, March 25, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Louis J. DiFronzo for 57 years.

Geri was born in Waterbury, CT on December 23, 1944, daughter of the late Gerard J. and Yvonne F. (LaFrenière) Bellemare. She worked as a patient specialist for CT Eye Consultants. Geri enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and spoiling her grandchildren. She was loving, kind and generous. She devoted her life to ensuring the happiness of those she loved most. She touched the lives of all those around her and most of all, Geri was the backbone of her family.

Besides her husband, Geraldine leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Eric DiFronzo of Brooklyn, NY, Traci DiFronzo of Oakville and two grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Gelinas. She also leaves her siblings, Elizabeth Roczynski and her husband, Joe of Lancaster, SC, Gerard J. Bellemare, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Florida, Arthur Bellemare and his wife, Dorie of Naugatuck, Albert Bellemare and his wife, Joanne of Oakville, Ronald Bellemare and his wife, Brenda of Waterbury, Denise Haschak and her late husband, Michael of Torrington, many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Arrangements: A celebration of Geraldine’s life will be held on a date to be announced by her family. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT has been entrusted with her arrangements.
