Mrs. Hannelore (Murth) Ward, 77, of New London and a former resident of Naugatuck, passed away early Wednesday morning, July 17, 2013 at the Beachwoods in New London. She was the widow of the late Harvey Ward.
Mrs. Ward was born in Wurzburg, Germany, Jan 21, 1936, a daughter of the late Karl and Meta (Frank) Muth and had been a resident of this country since 1960, moving to Naugatuck in 1968. She moved to New London 10 years ago.
She leaves her son, Waldemar Ward and a daughter, Angelika “Ann” Donovan both of Naugatuck; a brother, Franz Muth of Leipzig, Germany; two sister, Anna Darm of New London and Erika Maynard of Seattle, Wash.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Friday July 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Cross St. Naugatuck.
