Obituary: Jeannette Lee, 97, of Naugatuck

Jeannette lived in Naugatuck for the past 10 years having lived most of her life in Beacon Falls; she was a parishioner of St. Michael's.

Naugatuck, CT - Jeannette Lee, 97, widow of Daniel C. Lee, Jr., died peacefully on March 15, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital.

Jeannette was born on February 9, 1924 in Montreal, Canada a daughter of the late Wilfred and Marie (Bouchard) Bergeron. Jeannette lived in Naugatuck for the past 10 years having lived most of her life in Beacon Falls, where she was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church.

Jeannette is survived by her sons, Daniel C. Lee, III, James Lee and his wife, Cheryl Lee, Charles Lee and his wife, Debby Lee and Alan Lee and his wife, Joan Lee; her daughters, Sharon Lee and Diane Gaudiano and her husband, Paul Gaudiano; her 19 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, Jeannette was predeceased by her daughters, Charlene Shea and Donna Grigalot and her son, Michael Lee.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 25 Maple Avenue, Beacon Falls. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Everyone attending Jeannette’s services is required to wear a facial covering and to adhere to social distancing guidelines. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers and to honor Jeannette’s memory, donations can be made to Beacon Hose Company #1, 35 North Main Street, Beacon Falls, CT 06403.
