Beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend

GOSHEN, CT - Jessica Mordenti passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the age of 42. She was born July 26, 1978 in Waterbury, a daughter of Noreen (Zanavich) Mordenti and the late Stephen W. Mordenti.

Jessica was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. A keen observer of the world, Jessica was blessed with a quick wit and sometimes irreverent sense of humor. She found joy in the small things and never took herself or others too seriously. She contemplated life and deeply loved the people and pets that were a part of it, particularly her daughter, Remy.

Jessica held the belief that all of life’s questions will be answered upon one’s passing. Her family finds comfort in the belief that Jess now knows that she was right all along.

Jessica leaves to cherish her love and memory; her daughter Remy Jane Howe, mother Noreen “Dodie” Mordenti, sister Alicia Mordenti and husband Sean Kinsella, nephew Liam and nieces Phoebe and Sonny Kinsella, grandfather Walter Mordenti, and many aunts, uncles , cousins, and her wonderful supportive friends, James Howe, David Usher and Robert Puzar.

She was predeceased by her father Stephen.
