Obituary: Juliette (DeBiase) Mucciarone, 90, of Waterbury

Juliette (DeBiase) Mucciarone, age 90, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 29, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Peter Mucciarone.
Born in Waterbury on August 20, 1930, Julie was the daughter of the late Michael and Gemma (Marini) DeBiase. She was a familiar face at Howland Hughes, where she worked in the children’s department for over 25 years. A warm and funny woman, Julie was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored her granddaughters and cherished the time she spent with them.

Julie is survived by her son Peter L. Mucciarone and his wife Monica of Watertown; and her granddaughters Leah Mucciarone of Clinton and Courtney Mucciarone of Boston, MA. She also leaves her sister-in-law Theresa Muccino of Waterbury as well as several nieces and nephews. Julie was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Mieth and her sisters Michele DeBiase, Erma Perrier, and Doris Verrastro.
A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 309 S. Main St., Waterbury. Burial will be held at a later date.
