Ms. Kay (Kee) Lawson-Demery 69, of Durham, North Carolina (formally Waterbury) passed away April 6, 2021 at her home.

She was born on December 7, 1951 in Hobbsville, North Carolina to the late Alonza Kee Sr. and Essie M. Eason.

She is survived by her son Randolph Lawson Jr, her stepdaughter Tanya Bryant, her sister Dora Kee of Prospect, Ct, her brothers Alonza Kee Jr., (Beatrice) Robert Kee Sr. (Dolores) of Waterbury and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private funeral service for family and close friends will be April 15, 2021 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 270 West Main Street, Waterbury Ct 06702. James R. Sanders Funeral Director. Public burial will follow at noon at New Pine Grove Cemetery immediacy after service. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
