WATERBURY, CT - Mr. Manuel Homy Armstrong, 28, entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the fiancé of Natasha Benitez.

Manuel was born in Bronx, New York on July 30, 1992, a son of Fausto Armstrong and Carmen Bosque. Manuel and his family first moved from New York to Worcester, MA in 1995 before settling in Waterbury in 2003. Manuel worked for UPS in Cheshire.

Manuel was a kind gentle soul with a heart of gold. He loved music and was a talented musician which allowed himself to not only write music but to produce his own songs. He liked working on cars with his father, spending time with his family and friends, but truly loved the quality time he spent with his daughter, Serenity, doing daddy things like painting nails, arts and crafts and going to the movies. He was a great brother that was always there to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.

Besides his parents and fiancée, he leaves his daughter, his love of his life, Serenity Armstrong of Waterbury, his two brothers, Daquam White of New York and Julio Armstrong of Webster, MA, his three sisters, Sandy Armstrong of Waterbury, Marta Armstrong and her husband, Marty Frazier, of Moosup, CT and Celia Armstrong of Waterbury, his paternal grandmother, Alicia Armstrong of New York, also his nieces and nephews, Anijha, Amirah, Adrian, Ahrianna, Elias, Osias, Zier, Martianna, Milon & Ayveri.

Arrangements: A funeral service will be held 10:45 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Calling hours will be held Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. till the time of the service at the funeral home.
