Marguerite Rouillard Begin

WATERBURY - Marguerite Rouillard Begin, 94, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Marguerite was born in St. Philemon, Canada on February 28, 1926 to the late Paul Rouillard and Marie Rouillard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Diane Begin, brothers Ovila, Donald, Emilion, Minome, and sisters Angela, Clarilda, and Elvige.

Marguerite migrated to the USA from Canada where she met and married the love of her life, Henry Begin. Marguerite studied to become an LPN and worked at Waterbury Convalescent Center for many years. Marguerite was always a favorite in family and friend gatherings. She was smart, witty, and fun to be with.

Marguerite is survived by her son Michael Begin and daughter-in-law Kathryn Begin, her grand-children Alexis Maliga and Jared Begin, her great-grandchildren Ella Rose Maliga and Andrew John Maliga, and many nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life Service honoring Henry, Marguerite and Diane Begin will be held on May 16, 2021 at 1:30PM at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation located at 1987 East Main St & Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 12:30PM until the service at 1:30PM. Details can be found on the Casey Funeral Home and Cremations website.
