Mr. Michael R. Albino, 54, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 11, 2021 at his home. He was the loving fiancée of Sierra Kawal of Waterbury.
Michael was born in Waterbury on January 15, 1967, son of the late John Francis and Bertha (Marcinka) Albino. He was a graduate of Wilby High School Class of 1985. He worked as a construction manager/master carpenter for the Stabler Properties in Southington for the past 3 years. Prior to Stabler he was a self employed owner and carpenter of Albino Construction Company for 30 years. Michael was a member of the VFW Post 201 of Waterbury for many years. He was an avid Las Vegas Raiders and the Boston Redsox fan. He was loved by many and will be missed by many.

Besides his fiancée, Sierra, Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Michael John Albino and his fiancé Maria Stango of Naugatuck, two step-daughters, Saira Muhammed and Samira Muhammed, both of Waterbury, and his granddaughter, Mya Phoenix Albino of Waterbury. He also leaves behind his siblings, Christine Albino of Waterbury, Mark E. Albino Sr. of Plymouth, Marco A. Albino and his wife Heather of Terryville, Marcus W. Albino of Waterbury, Josephine Kirschvaum and her husband Kurt of Waterbury, Joseph Albino of Waterbury, many nieces and nephews including 2 nephews whom Michael helped raise, Christopher J. Cooke and William P. Cooke.
Arrangements: Calling hours for Michael will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
