THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF MICHELE HOMEWOOD

WOLCOTT, CT - Michele (Mendillo) Homewood, 56, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital due to complications from the Covid # 19 virus. She was the wife of Richard Homewood of Wolcott.

Michele was born in Waterbury on September 10, 1964, the daughter of the late John and Annette (Coccio) Mendillo. She graduated from Wilby High School in 1982. For over 30 years she worked at the Eye Care Group in Waterbury. She loved to listen to all types of music, watch tv and movies, and play her games on her ipad. Most of all she was dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Michele will be remembered for her big heart and sense of humor, she can make anyone laugh.

Michele and Richard would have been married for 32 years at the end of this month.

Left to honor Michele’s legacy and honor her memory are her daughters; Alexandria and Emily Homewood both of Wolcott. She also leaves behind her 5 siblings, Elizabeth (Mike) Karter, Celeste (Jim) Alberto, Joanne (Bill) Mackie, Susan Mendillo and John (Shari) Mendillo, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Richard Albert Edward Homewood Jr. in 1995, her parents, John and Annette Mendillo, and her nephew, Matthew Karter.

Due to the current pandemic a Memorial Service will be held at a later date when all can gather together, safely.
